Sukhpal Khaira floats regional party “Punjabi Ekta Party”
Former Leader of Opposition and rebel Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira on Tuesday announced a new regional party “Punjabi Ekta Party”. Sukhpal Khaira has sent a letter to the Election Commission of India (ECI) for the registration of his new party.

Rebel AAP MlAs Pirmal Singh Khalsa, Jagtar Singh Jagga Hissowal , Kanwar Sandhu , Baldev Singh Jaito , Nazar Singh Manshahia and Jagdev Singh Kamalu were also present during the formal inauguration of the party.

Addressing a gathering in Chandigarh, Sukhpal Khaira lambasted AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and MP Sangrur Bhagwant Mann. He said that the AAP has totally deviated from the ideology and principles on which it was formed.

Sukhpal Khaira also listed the agenda’s of his party for the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

Earlier, ahead of Lok Sabha elections , Sukhpal Khaira had announced that like-minded groups would come on a platform of Punjab Democratic Alliance (PDA). PDA is likely to see Bains Brother’s Lok Insaaf Party (LIP) , Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Patiala MP Dharamvira Gandhi on one stage.
