Sunny Deol files nomination from Gurdaspur parliamentary constituency
Actor-turned-BJP candidate Sunny Deol filed his nomination papers from Gurdaspur parliamentary constituency on Monday. Sunny Deol paid obeisance at sanctum sanctorum, Sri Darbar Sahib and Durgiana Mandir on Monday morning.

Sunny Deol was accompanied by his father, veteran actor Dharmendra and brother Bobby Deol. Punjab BJP President Shwait Malik was also present during the filing of nomination papers.

Sunny Deol joined BJP party in Delhi on April 23. This decision came two days after his meeting with BJP President Amit Shah. He was welcomed in the party by Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.
