Sunny Deol pays obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib and Durgiana Mandir ahead of filing nomination papers
Actor-turned-BJP candidate Sunny Deol paid obeisance at sanctum sanctorum, Sri Darbar Sahib and Durgiana Mandir on Monday morning before filing nomination papers from Gurdaspur parliamentary constituency.

Following the visit, Sunny Deol left for Gurdaspur to file the nomination papers. According to media reports, his father, veteran actor Dharmendra and brother Bobby Deol are likely to be present during the filing.
Sunny Deol will also be accompanied by Kavita Khanna, wife of former Gurdaspur MP late Vinod Khanna, and Union Minister Jitendra Singh.

Sunny Deol joined BJP party in Delhi on April 23. This decision came two days after his meeting with BJP President Amit Shah. He was welcomed in the party by Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.
