The Supreme Court’s 5-judge constitution bench said that Aadhaar means Unique and it would be better if it is kept unique than it is being kept as best. • Supreme government directed the government not to give aadhaar rights to illegal immigrants.
• CBSE, NEET, UGC cannot make Aadhaar mandatory, for school admissions
• Aadhaar authentication data should not be stored for more than six months
• Section 57 of Aadhaar Act would now permit private entities to avail Aadhaar data struck down

• There would be no possibility of obtaining a duplicate Aadhaar card
