Missile attacks just a slap on US' face, revenge will be something else, says Supreme Leader of Iran

Following Iran's missile attacks on US bases in Iraq, country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei said that "This was just a slap on US' face. Revenge is something else." Khamenei was quoted by Iranian media as saying, "We should be stronger so that no enemy can harm us... as US will never stop its state of enmity with Iran." While calling Americans liars, Khamenei stated that US sought to label Iraniann commander General Qassem Soleimani as a terrorist. The Iranian Supreme Leader said that "We should know our enemies, their plans and their methods. We have people to tackle them militarily and politically. Our enemy is America. Last night, we slapped the face of United States." "US brought damage to our region. They keep talking about negotiations but they all they want is to interfere. This needs to end," Ayatollah Khamenei  said amid chants of 'Death to America' and 'Death to Israel'. https://www.ptcnews.tv/us-iran-tensions-iran-claims-80-people-killed-in-missile-attacks-iraq-military-says-no-casualties-among-iraqi-forces-en/ Iran claimed that 80 people were killed in missile attacks on two of its bases housing the US and coalition troops in Iraq.
