The people were sleeping in the hall outside the ticket window at the station. The SUV, Hyundai Creta crashed past all the barricades and ran over those people. Most of them were taken out from under the car and were rushed to a nearby hospital. The doctors told the media that most of them were critically injured and their condition is said to be critical.

The police rushed to the spot as soon as they received a call. While briefing the media, police said, that the car was badly damaged. Also, the driver of the car was 19 years old. There were five people inside the car and police nabbed two of them. The rest of them managed to escape. The occupants in the car were in drunken condition.

The police has registered a case against the occupants and is investigating the case.
