Swine Flu claims its first life in Haryana in 2019
Swine Flu has now knocked at the door of Haryana. A 60-year-old man died of Swine Flu in Karnal on Wednesday. H1N1 virus claimed its first life in Haryana in 2019.

The deceased, identified as Dharam Singh, was a resident of Katabagh Colony. He died at Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College and Hospital. According to media reports, He was under treatment since January 7. He was suffering from chronic asthma that led to more complications, resulting in death.

According to an epidemiologist, Dr Aman Yadav, his four family members came into his contact. A team of doctors led by him visited Katabagh Colony and inspected the health of his family members. They have given them medicines and they are keeping a watch on them.
