Tamil Nadu Extends COVID-19 Lockdown: Tamil Nadu has extended its existing coronavirus-related curbs till March 31 which means the offices, shops, and industrial and commercial establishments will continue with staggered working hours. It is pertinent to mention that Tamil Nadu is among those states that are witnessing an upsurge in COVID-19 cases. Tamil Nadu Extends COVID-19 Lockdown: Tamil Nadu extended its existing coronavirus-related curbs till March 31. Meanwhile, the authorities in Tamil Nadu, where the COVID-19 lockdown has been extended, have been asked to crack down on violations of these curbs or any other protocols. The Police and municipal authorities have been directed to ensure strict adherence to COVID norms and measures in containment zones. These measures include the use of masks in public and maintaining social distancing. Likewise, International travel, restrictions on which have been extended by the DGCA, remained prohibited in the state, apart from those related to essential services.
