Teachers, nursing staff to hold massive protest rally on October 17 in Chamkaur Sahib

The Punjab Teachers Alliance and nursing staff have decided to hold a massive protest rally on October 17 in Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi's constituency Chamkaur Sahib. The leaders accused the government and the finance department of failing to notify the government of the higher pay scale recommended by the pay commission for the entire faculty and nursing staff in 24 categories. Meanwhile, letters will be sent to the Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi through SDMs across Punjab on October 11 and 12 regarding the non-implementation of the scale given by the Pay Commission to 24 categories and other demands. -PTC News
