Team of DSGMC led by Sirsa to meet Kaithal communal clash victims A Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) team led by President, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, left for Kaithal today. The team will be meeting the communal clash victims today. The team will be collecting all the information on the communal clash that took place on March 22. The clash was reported from Badsui village of Kaithal district where the land is shared by two shrines. The clash was the result of the ongoing dispute over the land and “local electoral politics”. The deceased was identified as Shamsher Singh. The injured were taken to the Rajendra government hospital in Patiala. Recently, under Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLAD) funds were sanctioned for the village. On March 21, one of the communities built a wall between the two shrines using those funds. The next morning, when the other community came to know about the wall, it opposed the decision. A common meeting was called to resolve the issue. But, the discussion went out of control and resulted in a clash. - PTC NEWS
