Third edition of Super Sikh Run unveils by Hero Electric

Hero Electric unveils the third edition of Super Sikh Run, a marathon event to be held in December at the national capital. This event has witnessed coming together of real people with real stories in the previous two seasons. Hero Electric is the leader of the Indian Electric two-wheeler industry.

The Super Sikh Run has successfully carried out half marathons in 2016 and 2017 editions in Delhi. Hero Electric launched a promo run for the upcoming Super Sikh run on November 29. The half marathon will take place on December 9 at 5:30 am.

India’s first blade runner and Kargil War Veteran Major DP Singh said, “I am thrilled to be a participant of the Super Sikh Run. This run won’t only spread awareness for helping the community but as an avid runner, I am happy that it will also promote the benefits of running. I look forward to the Super Sikh Run.”

One of the differently abled participants of marathon Jagwinder Singh (24) was also present at the session. He was a competitive cyclist and an art teacher.

Jagwinder said: “The people who see me every day, their mindset become very positive, thinking ‘If he can do so much in spite of not having hands then we can do anything. I am proud to be an Indian and also a differently abled person as people get motivated when they see me cycling or running. ”

Naveen Munjal, MD of Hero Eco group said, “We are highly excited to join the Super Sikh Family. Hero Electric always looks forward to forming a part of such events which help uplift the human spirits. This run not only stands for its moto but also sends across the message of fitness among every age category.”

Super Sikh Run has become one of the most popular running events in Delhi. More than 6000 runners participate in the marathon. It starts from the historical Gurudwara Rakabganj in central Delhi and covers Gol Dak Khana circle, St. Columbas School, Gole Market, Mandir Marg, Ridge Road and Army Public School.
