Three suffocate to death in sewer tank in Haryana
Three labourers were killed after inhaling poisonous gas while cleaning a sewer tank at a private banquet hall in Sonepat on Wednesday. The incident took place in Sidharth enclave on the Sonepat-Bahalgarh road here.

The labourers have been identified as Pandu (46), his son Vinay (18) and their neighbour Deepak (32). According to media reports, Pandu entered the tank but did not return. Deepak went inside the tank to check about Pandu but did not return. After that, Vinay went in and met with the same fate.

Police and firefighting teams reached the spot. The bodies were retrieved after around two and a half hours. The bodies were sent to the civil hospital for postmortem examination.
