Sun Foundation Chairman Vikramjit Singh Sahney announced the donation of an oxygen generation plant to a hospital in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in an order to battle the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement came during a function which was held at Raj Bhavan, Gandhinagar where Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Vijay Rupani were also present.

The oxygen plant will be established at GMERS Hospital, Gandhinagar in Gujarat, said the Sun Foundation Chairman.

The foundation has been working selflessly to battle the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier, it had arranged over 500 oxygen concentrators for Delhi and various districts of Punjab.
Also, it has been arranging 2,000 oxygen cylinders for rural areas in Punjab. Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Padma Shri, Chairman of Sun Foundation, had said that they were providing Oxygen Concentrators for Covid patients.
Meanwhile, the Young Progressive Sikh Forum, and Indian Medical Association, Patiala Chapter, with the support of Padamshree Vikramjit Singh Sawhney, Chairman, Sun Foundation, started providing free Oxygen Concentrator to Patialavis on a returnable basis.
