Toddler mauled to death: HC issues notice to Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Punjab and Haryana High Court issue notice to Chandigarh Municipal Corporation after a pack of four stray dogs attacked and mauled to death an 18-month-old boy at a park in Sector 18 on Sunday. Parents of the 18-month-old boy reiterated on Tuesday that they won’t allow his postmortem till a case of negligence is registered against municipal officials tasked with curbing canine terror in the city. The toddler, identified as Aayush, was playing in the park with his three elder siblings while their mother, who is a domestic help, had gone to work at a nearby house, said police.
