Punjab Sports Minister Rana Sodhi on Thursday announced that the state government would give Rs. 1 crore each to 11 hockey players who were part of the historic win at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. "On this historic day for Indian Hockey, I am delighted to announce a cash award of Rs 1 crore each to players from Punjab. We await your return to celebrate the much deserving medal in Olympics," Rana Sodhi tweeted.
