Amazon customer orders Sony headphones, gets Colgate toothpaste | Watch Video
PTC Web Desk: Yash Ojha, a Twitter user, recently took to the social media to share an unusual incident involving his Amazon order. Ojha had eagerly awaited the arrival of his Sony XB910N Wireless headphones, priced at Rs 19,900.
However, upon unboxing the package, he was surprised to find a tube of Colgate toothpaste instead. Sharing a video of the bewildering unboxing, Yash Ojha expressed his astonishment, stating, "Well, I ordered Sony XB910N and got Colgate lmao."

In a strange turn of events, two separate customers on Amazon recently reported receiving unexpected items instead of their anticipated purchases, prompting concerns of a potential mix-up in deliveries.
In a similar incident that further raised eyebrows, another Amazon customer, Arun Kumar Meher, detailed his shocking encounter with an order mishap. Meher had placed an order for a Sigma 24-70 f 2.8 lens worth Rs 90,000. Yet, upon receiving the package the next day, he discovered the box had already been opened. To his disbelief, the package did not contain the expected camera lens, but rather a packet of quinoa seeds.
Expressing his frustration, Meher took to Twitter, labeling the incident as a "big scam" and calling out @amazonIN and Appario Retail. He attached images of the quinoa seeds packaged inside the lens box, urging for a swift resolution, "Ordered a 90K INR Camera lens from Amazon, they have sent a lens box with a packet of quinoa seeds inside instead of the lens. Big scam by @amazonIN and Appario Retail. The lens box was also opened. Solve it asap."
Responding to the complaints, Amazon expressed regret over the erroneous deliveries and extended assistance to resolve the issue. The company urged affected customers to update their Direct Message settings and reach out privately while cautioning against sharing order or account details, deeming them as sensitive personal information.
These peculiar incidents have sparked concerns among online shoppers, emphasising the importance of quality control and accurate delivery procedures in e-commerce platforms to ensure customer satisfaction and trust.
