In a major incident, a transgender has been beaten to death over the suspicion of being a child lifter in Nagarkata in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. Meanwhile, Debasish Chakraborty, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) said, that they managed to rescue the victim but he died on the way to the hospital. Furthermore, the police reported that no incident of child kidnapping has happened, these were the rumours spread by some notorious people.”

Meanwhile, the videos of the incident have gone viral on social media. The police have started a further investigation into the matter. These incident of suspicion killing are raising day by day as recently three people were tied to the tree and thrashed to the death over the suspicion of cattle theft in Bihar.
Recently, a mob thrashed two youths on the suspicion of bike theft in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh.
