In a major development, two minor girls, reportedly, from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir crossed over to Indian territory and detained by the Indian Army along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information, the incident took place on Sunday.

The Defence PRO, Jammu, was quoted by ANI as saying that "Two girls from PoK had inadvertently crossed into Indian territory in Poonch sector, Jammu and Kashmir today morning."
