Two undertrials missing from Ludhiana Central jail: official
Two under trials have gone missing from Ludhiana Central Jail since Sunday evening, police said. Both of them were brothers, police confirmed.
Jasbir Singh and Harvinder Singh both are residence of Amloh in Fatehgarh Sahib district, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, Surinder Lamba confirmed.
The two were facing trial in separate criminal cases under the NDPS Act.
The officer said that during a routine head-count in the jail at 8 pm on Sunday evening, the officials found the two prisoners missing.
