United Sikhs organization honoured Newman Police Department’s Cpl. Ronil Singh The United Sikhs Organization on Saturday honoured Newman Police officer, Ronil Singh, who was fatally shot during his duty on December 26. The Sikh Organization presented special Karas that had his name and his badge number engraved, to his family members and fellow officers. They presented these karas at funeral services held at CrossPoint Community Church.

His service made all Sikhs proud. Also, he urged the local community to help Ronil Singh’s family during this difficult time. Ronil Singh was shot dead during a traffic stop in California on December 26 around 1:00 am. The victim was working overtime on December 25. He tried to stop a vehicle that broke some traffic rules.
