New Delhi: The Red, Violet, and Green lines of Delhi Metro resumed its services on Thursday. The services were suspended on March 22 in the wake of lockdown induced by the outbreak of coronavirus. Delhi Metro resumed its operations on Monday with the opening of the Yellow Line. Likewise, the Blue and Pink lines were made operational on Wednesday. publive-image As per the report, the number of commuters has been rising. 53,400 number of commuters were reported on Wednesday while nearly 15,000 and 17,000 commuters were reported on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

The Red Line (Rithala to Shaheed Sthal New Bus Adda (Ghaziabad), Green Line (Kirti Nagar/Inderlok to Brig. Hosihar Singh), and Violet Line (Kashmere Gate to Raja Nahar Singh) resumed services on Thursday. Likewise, 40 trains and 344 trips on the Violet line and 20 trains, 268 trips on the Green Line.
