UP Teenagers bleed to death cops refuse help, Relatives stage protest: Relatives & locals of the two teenagers who died in an accident & were denied help by cops on Saturday morning in Uttar Pradesh have blocked Bharat Mata Chowk. They are demanding Rs 1 Crore compensation each for victims' families & a case against concerned police. Two teenagers were injured in an accident when 3 police personnel refused to take them to a hospital on the pretext that their blood would spoil the patrol vehicle. The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur.   The police personnel were suspended after the incident came to notice. While they were returning to their houses on a motorcycle, they hit an electricity pole in Beri Bagh after which they fell into a deep drain, Saharanpur superintendent of police Prabal Pratap Singh said. Hearing the screams of the injured teenagers, residents came to rescue and pulled them out. The two sustained grievous head injuries in the incident. A UP 100 patrol vehicle was informed about the accident after which they reached the spot, but eyewitnesses alleged that the policemen on duty refused to shift the two to a hospital, saying their blood would spoil the vehicle. -PTC News
