UPSC Civil Service Main Test 2021: Important announcement for all aspirants

In view of rising Covid-19 cases in India, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Thursday issued a notice clarifying that UPSC Civil Services Main Test 2021, will be held as per schedule. UPSC Civil Services Main Test 2021 is scheduled to be held on January 7, 8, 9, 15, and 16 at various exam centers across the country. Also Read | India logs 90,928 new Covid-19 cases; Omicron tally rises to 2,630 Amid current restrictions and curbs imposed by several state governments due to a rise in Covid-19 cases, UPSC has requested the state governments that no inconvenience should be caused to the candidates and examination functionaries in their movement. If necessary, the aspirants must be issued movement passes. For the smooth conduct and functioning of the examination, UPSC also requested the availability of public transportation for the candidates at least one day before the examination, especially from January 6 to 9, and January 14 to 16. Likewise, the UPSC requested the state governments, district administrations, and local authorities for making special arrangements for the candidates. These include cleanliness, sanitisation, and keeping a check that Covid-19 protocols were being followed by the candidates and examination authorities. Moreover, the candidates have been urged to follow all the Covid-19 protocols during the conduct of examination such as maintaining social distancing, wearing a mask or face shield, sanitising hands, and maintaining personal hygiene at an individual level.
