Paris is a city known for charming patisseries, legendary art museums, and now, open-air urinals. Yes, you have heard it right! France’s capital has now installed open-air urinals in the city those will act as a designated spots for passers-by to pisse in Peace.

The urinals feature a usual basin for weeing into the red-colored pot of flowers to give a pleasant look than the usual grey, overflowing street urinals spots for street peeing. They are placed at the busy Gare de Lyon in the south east of Paris.
The working is quite simple. It works storing the urine one the bed of dry material like dust, straws, wood chips, etc. These materials mixed with urine turns into compost. The red-colored box, coated with anti-graffiti paint will make sure toilet is largely ordour-free.

These uritrottoirs are being seen as more of a problem to everyone, rather than a great invention.
“I think installing a urinal in the streets of Paris for those who don’t respect their surroundings is a good idea, but in my opinion, this model is not attractive at all, and where it’s been set up is not appropriate at all,” a local said.
The uritrottoirs look like giant flower boxes, and that’s kind of the point. They have an environmentally friendly purpose—composting. These red painted boxes are installed with signs that point to them nearby.
Paris people have put together a petition and written to the town hall to demand that the urinals are removed.
According to a local, "There's no need to put something so immodest and ugly in such an historic spot. It’s a little bit in the open; some people might be uncomfortable as several boats packed with tourists floated past along the Seine.”

Not Everyone Is Thrilled About Paris's New Eco-Friendly Open-Air Urinals. The freshly-installed Eco-friendly toilets overlook passing tourist boats. These open urinals are besides the most beautiful townhouse on the island.
Although three of the contraptions were installed elsewhere in Paris during the spring, their arrival on the exclusive island of Ile Sainte-Louis on the Seine River, not far from Notre Dame cathedral, has met with a more robust response.
