US mass shooting: 9 injured in Newark
Washington [US], July 1: The mass shooting took place in the northeastern area of US city in which nine persons were injured.
The mass shooting came less few days after US President Joe Biden signed for Bipartisan bill to curb the incidents of gun violence in the United States.

As per the sources, the incident took place on the 200 block of Clinton Place at around 6:20 p.m. (2220 GMT) on Thursday. The victims were transported to the hospital to treat gunshot wounds immediately, it added.
Four adults and a 17-year-old are being treated in Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Other four adults were taken by EMS to University Hospital.
All the nine victims who were in gunshot wounds are now in stable condition.
Earlier also mass shooting took place in school in which 19 children were killed which led to nationwide protests against gun violence across the United States.
Meanwhile, in order to curb the rise in mass shooting incidents and to decrease the gun violence in the US, the US Senate passed a bipartisan bill to address gun violence in the United States, the first major piece of federal gun reform in almost 30 years.
The rise in violence in US is increasing day by day. Earlier also in a mass shooting 10 people were killed at a supermarket in Buffalo.
Amid the rising gun violence in the country, the US Department [of Justice] also launched intensified National Ghost Gun Enforcement Initiative in February 2022 to refrain criminals from using weapons.

According to the latest data from the Gun Violence Archive, there have been more than 21,800 deaths from gun violence and 296 mass shootings across the United States over the past six months.
