The newly sworn-in Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Tirath Singh Rawat, stirred a controversy saying that women wearing ripped jeans send the wrong message to society and children. Ripped jeans are a result of the “bad example” parents set for children that also leads to substance abuse, said Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat during a workshop on substance abuse.
