Uttarakhand Elections 2022: CM Pushkar Dhami campaigns in Laldhang

Uttarakhand Assembly Elections 2022: Ahead of upcoming state polls, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday campaigned in Laldhang. Dhami has been actively conducting power pact campaigns and is busy doing roadshows in the run-up to the Uttarkhand Assembly elections. On Wednesday, the chief minister held a poll campaign in Kapkot, Bageshwar and conducted a door-to-door campaign Ganghet and Jageshwar. Also Read | BJP will form govt in UP with two-thirds majority, says Amit Shah Earlier on Tuesday, Uttarakhand CM Dhami and his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar had launched the BJP's poll campaign in the state. Two leaders went door-to-door to meet voters and addressed public meetings in Garhwal and Kumaon regions. Dhami announced his candidacy for the Khatima Assembly seat in the Assembly elections last week. In Khatima, Dhami will face PCC working president Bhuwan Chandra Kapri for the second time. Dhami had defeated him by 2709 votes in the 2017 assembly elections. He has held the seat since the 2012 assembly elections when he defeated Congress candidate Devendra Chand by more than 5000 votes. The election for the 70-member Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly is set for February 14. The results of the election will be announced on March 10.
