Cook rice. Mix it with fresh yogurt, salt, chopped green chilies, grated ginger, and chopped coriander leaves. For tadka (tempering), heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, and dried red chilies. Pour it over the curd rice and mix well.

Mix besan with water to make a smooth batter. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves, salt, turmeric and a pinch of baking soda. Heat a non-stick pan, pour a ladleful of batter, spread it out into a thin circle, and cook until golden brown on both sides.
