Watch: 15 stray cattle die in 5 days in Muktsar
At least 15 stray cattle died in last 5 days at a cattle pound in Ratta Tibba village in Malout. The Animal Husbandry Department officials conducted the postmortem. The officials found the presence of plastic and polythene in huge amount in their stomach.

According to PTC News, the arrangements made for the cattle at the pound are really pathetic. There is not enough fodder for the cattle. Even workers working at the pound have not been paid from months.

The Deputy Commissioner told PTC News that they will send a team of officials to the cattle pound. They will submit a report, following which necessary action will be taken.
