In a major boost to the indigenous missile development programme, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully test fired the Man-Portable Anti Tank Guided Missile system from a firing range in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, on Wednesday. This is the 3rd successful test firing of the missile system, which is being developed to cater to the Indian Army’s need for third generation anti-tank guided missiles.
