A video surfaced on social media which is going viral showing, officials of Pune Municipal Corporation rescuing a toddler from waterlogged area in Mitra Mandal Chowk in Pune. Meanwhile, the situation in Pune is expected to get worsen as 85,000 cusecs of water has been released from Nazare Dam post heavy rainfall in Saswad city. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1177118164016074752 The death toll has risen to 11 in Pune following the heavy rainfall and the wall collapse near Tangewala Aranyeshwar Colony in Sahakar Nagar. So far, 8 bodies have been recovered in the city area while 3 bodies are recovered in Khed Shivapur, as per ANI. My deepest condolences to the families. We are providing all possible assistance needed." Meanwhile, Pune District Collector, Naval Kishore Ram while addressing media stated that "About 14,000 people are being shifted to safer places in Baramati area due to prevailing situation in the area following heavy rainfall and release of the water from dams." -PTC News
