WATCH: Pakistani BAT team’s infiltration bid foiled by Indian Army using grenade launchers
The Indian Army, on Wednesday, released a video showing Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) team trying to infiltrate into Indian territory on the intervening night of September 12-13 in Haji Pir sector of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The suspicious activity was spotted by Indian Army personnel. As per reports, commandos of Pakistan’s Special Service Group (SSG), which forms the core of BAT, were behind the infiltration bid. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1174162136538288128 In a video released by the Indian Army, the Indian troops can be seen launching grenades at Pakistan's SSG (Special Service Group) commandos/terrorists using Under Barrel Grenade Launchers, foiling the infiltration bid. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1174163905397968896 Despite repeated denials, Pakistan has been trying to push terrorists into India. In August, the Indian Army foiled over 15 infiltration attempts by Pakistan on the Line of Control (LoC).The video came in the wake of a statement by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, in which he said that PoK is a part of India and they expect to have jurisdiction over the region. He also said that India’s stand on PoK has been consistent.
