Days after the Railway Protection Force (RPF) staff saved a passenger’s life at Ahmedabad railway station, the Ministry of Railways released a video of a man falling off while trying to board a moving train and being saved by RPF staff at the nick of time. The caption read, “We request our esteemed passengers not to board a moving train at the platform. RPF staff saved the life of this passenger at Ahmedabad station but one may not be so lucky every time.” In the video, two passengers try to board the train. One boards it safely while the other falls off the steps. As the man is dragged by the train, RPF staff stationed on the platform rushed to his rescue. The RPF staff’s swift action evoked much appreciation. A user said, “RPF staff is always in quick action.
