Watch: That's How International Nagar Kirtan was welcomed in Gumla, Jharkhand

The International Nagar Kirtan on Tuesday evening was welcomed at Gumla in Jharkhand, where the Palki Sahib was rested for the day. The Palki Sahib was welcomed by the Sikh devotees with the huge prosperity. The International Nagar Kirtan entered in India through Wagah border, in Amritsar which started its journey from Sri Nankana Sahib which is the birthplace of Sikh Faith Founder Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Also, this has been initiated for the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The International Nagar Kirtan was welcomed in Gumla with the joy among the Sikh devotees. There were fireworks across the streets of Gumla from where the Palki Sahib was heading to. The International Nagar Kirtan on August 01, 2019, from the Wagah border, where it was welcomed by Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Bikram Singh Majithia and other key leaders of SAD. Likewise, the Palki Sahib in Kolkata was welcomed by the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself. The International Nagar Kirtan is scheduled to cover the whole journey across India and conclude at Sultanpur Lodhi. -PTC News-
