What is Nasal Vaccine? Amid COVID-19 vaccination in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that research on the nasal vaccine is underway. If it gets successful, then it will boost the ongoing vaccination drive in India.
Recently, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) chief scientist Soumya Swaminathan had also said that trials to produce nasal vaccines were underway in India. This “could be a game-changer for children,” Soumya had added.
BBV154, an intranasal vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech, is under the pre-clinical trial phase.
