Chandigarh, November 4 :The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today asked Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi to disclose if he had ever visited the family members of the 1984 anti Sikh genocide. In a statement here. senior SAD leader and Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjit Singh GK said Rahul should tell the people why he had never tried to console or share the grief of even one of the thousands of Sikh families whose near and dear ones had been butchered in 1984, "Rahul should tell the people why he had never visited the widow colony of Tilak Vihar in Delhi. "Was it because you felt guilty as you knew that the riots had been instigated by your own family members and meticulously planned and executed by senior members of your own party", the DSGMC president asked. Aren't you playing politics by trying to take political mileage out of the tragedy of two families even as you remained indifferent to the collective tragedy of around 30,000 victims of the 1984 genocide".
