With 2,800+ new cases, Punjab's COVID-19 tally crosses 90,000-mark

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 90,032 after a record of 2,896 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Thursday. According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, the death toll in the state has increased to 2,646 after 57 new deaths were reported from the state. A total of 2,248 new recoveries were reported from the state on Thursday. Of these, Ludhiana reported 68 new recoveries, Jalandhar 208, Patiala 155, Amritsar 320, SAS Nagar 456, Gurdaspur 4, Bathinda 58, Hoshiarpur 306, Sangrur 42, Ferozepur 50, Pathankot 138, Kapurthala 58, Faridkot 114, Moga 76, Muktsar 45, Barnala 27, Fazilka 28, Fatehgarh Sahib 27, Ropar 27, Tarn Taran 5, Mansa 10, and SBS Nagar 26.
