With 5,094 new cases, Punjab continues to witness decline in daily coronavirus cases
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: Coronavirus cases in Punjab continue to decline as the state on Sunday recorded 5,094 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 5,38,994.
Ludhiana reported a major decline as the district reported 597 new cases of COVID-19 while Jalandhar reported 459, SAS Nagar 454, Fazilka 436, Bathinda 435, Patiala 344, Amritsar 300, Muktsar 284, Hoshiarpur 264, and Mansa 228.

Likewise, Pathankot reported 192 new cases, Sangrur 184, Gurdaspur 157, Ferozepur 123, Faridkot 116, Kapurthala 116, SBS Nagar 97, Barnala 78, Ropar 76, FG Sahib 71, Tarn Taran 43, and Moga 40.

On the other hand, the total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 4,68,208 after the state added 8,527 new recoveries in 24 hours.
Amritsar recorded 500 new recoveries while Barnala recorded 71, Bathinda 845, Faridkot 219, Fazilka 399, Ferozpur 175, FG Sahib 148, Gurdaspur 142, Hoshiarpur 707, Jalandhar 574, Kapurthala 206, Ludhiana 1315, Mansa 333, Moga 160, Muktsar 297, Pathankot 318, Patiala 467, Ropar 172, Sangrur 355, SAS Nagar 985, SBS Nagar 87, and Tarn Taran 52.
The death toll in Punjab due to COVID-19 has increased to 13,281 after 172 fresh deaths were recorded in 24 hours.
Amritsar reported 15 new deaths, Barnala recorded 3, Bathinda 18, Faridkot 4, FG Sahib 4, Fazilka 10, Ferozpur 4, Gurdaspur 3, Hoshiarpur 6, Jalandhar 7, Kapurthala 5, Ludhiana 20, Mansa 4, Moga 1, SAS Nagar 16, Muktsar 5, Pathankot 5, Patiala 19, Ropar 2, Sangrur 16, SBS Nagar 4, and Tarn Taran 1.
