With 692 new cases, Punjab's COVID-19 tally rises to 1,25,211

Coronavirus Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,25,211 after 692 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Tuesday.

According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, the death toll in the state due to COVID-19 has increased to 3,894 after 34 COVID patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours, as of Tuesday evening.

Amritsar reported 6 new COVID deaths, Ludhiana reported 4, Gurdaspur 3, Sangrur 3, Hoshiarpur 2, Jalandhar 2, Kapurthala 2, SAS Nagar 2, Muktsar 2, Patiala 2, Ropar 2, Barnala 1, Fazilka 1, Moga 1, and SBS Nagar 1.

The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 1,13,105 after 1,006 new recoveries were reported from the state.

Ludhiana reported 70 new recoveries while Jalandhar recorded 87, Patiala 86, Amritsar 129, Gurdaspur 41, Bathinda 143, Hoshiarpur 58, Pathankot 47, Sangrur 12, Kapurthala 57, Faridkot 48, Muktsar 26, and SAS Nagar 60.

Likewise, Fazilka reported 14, Moga 9, Ropar 25, FG Sahib-18, Barnala-12, Tarn Taran-20, SBS Nagar 18, and Mansa 26.

Corona Active Cases

Among the new coronavirus cases in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 103 new cases, Jalandhar 95, Patiala 44, SAS Nagar 57, Amritsar 57, Gurdaspur 40, Bathinda 55, Hoshiarpur 41, and Ferozepur 15.
