With 88,600 new cases, India's COVID-19 tally rises to 5,992,533

Coronavirus India Update: India reported a single-day spike of 88,600 new COVID-19 cases and 1,124 deaths in the last 24 hours, as of Sunday morning. The total number of coronavirus cases in India has increased to 5,992,533 out of which 9,56,402 are active cases, 49,41,628 have been cured discharged while 94,503 COVID patients in India have died due to the pandemic, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said. Of these, 9,87,861 samples were tested on Saturday.
