Woman, 2 Daughters Dead As Car Catches Fire On Flyover In Delhi A woman and her daughters died as the car in which they were travelling caught fire in Delhi on Sunday. The incident took place on Akshardham flyover in East Delhi at around 6:30 pm. They were going to the Akshardham temple.

The victims were identified as Ranjana Mishra and her daughter Ridhi and Nikki. Ranjana’s husband, Upender Mishra and her third daughter survived the blaze.

Upender Mishra was driving the car at the time of the incident. As the fire spread, he managed to come out with one of his daughter who was sitting in the front seat. The bodies of his wife and two daughters were burnt beyond recognization.

According to the preliminary investigation, Compressed Natural Gas leaked at the back of their Datsun GO car that led to the fire. Police told the media that further investigations would be conducted to figure out the cause of the fire.
