Woman mauled to death by a tiger in Rajasthan
In spite of Prime Minister’s Swachh Bharat Mission’s (Open Defecate Free mission) huge success, it proved to be a failure for this 40-year-old woman who went to the fields to relieve herself but was mauled to death by a tiger. The incident in Rajasthan shows the reflection of India where there are still thousands of people who defecate openly. Had there been some gramin toilets in Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan, Munni Devi could still be alive.

A 40-year-old woman was mauled to death by a tiger on Saturday morning in Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan. The incident took place in the fields of Padli region under Ranthambore National Park at 6 am. The deceased has been identified as Munni Devi. Tiger attacked and killed her when the victim was returning home from her farm. She had gone to relieve herself in the fields.

According to media reports, a forest official confirmed that the victim's face was badly mauled by the tiger. The body was taken to a nearby hospital. The forest official has launched a probe into the matter.
