World Book of Records, London, has rewarded Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President, Bibi Jagir Kaur, with a certificate of commitment.
The World Book of Records awarded the certificate to validate Bibi Jagir Kaur's dedicated and relentless commitment to promoting safety against the COVID-19 pandemic and pledge to serve the society with honesty and sincerity for reducing the human sufferings, also to guide for the best prevention of coronavirus disease as specified by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has been a helping hand for those in need as the second wave of coronavirus has affected the health infrastructure.

Since health infrastructure was affected, the poor people found it difficult to arrange oxygen and other medicines.
Meanwhile, SGPC opened COVID care centres for providing free health care to coronavirus patients.
SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur had said that COVID care centres provide free oxygen and medicines to patients.
Also, she had also announced a fully equipped ambulance will be stationed at the centre in case there would be a need to shift patients to a super speciality facility.
