Hamas said that it would release three female hostages, Romi Gonen, Emily Damari, and Doron Steinbrecher, as part of the ceasefire deal.

The truce has come into effect from 11.15 local time (9.15 GMT) after a delay of around three hours. This phase of the ceasefire deal is expected to last for 42 days."Pursuant to the framework for the release of the hostages, the ceasefire of the first stage in Gaza will take effect at 11:15," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said.

Earlier Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned against that he will not move further until hostage list is received.

Quoting Netanyahu, the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel on X wrote, "We will be unable to move forward with the framework until we receive the list of the hostages who will be released, as was agreed. Israel will not tolerate violations of the agreement. Hamas is solely responsible."
