New Delhi, January 31: India condemned deadly terror attack that shook Peshawar in Pakistan and extended condolences to the families of victims.
Notably, the death toll stands at 90 and over 100 people have been injured.

Meanwhile, taking to his Twitter handle, MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi wrote, "India extends its deep condolences to the families of the victims of the terror attack in Peshawar yesterday. We strongly condemn this attack, which has taken the lives of so many people."
Notably, the blast took place in the mosque after a suicide bomber blew him up.
A rescue operation is being carried out to pull out bodies from the debris of the mosque.
The suicide attacker was standing in the front row and blew himself up while performing the prayers.
After the investigation, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been claimed responsible for the attack.
About 1,500 to 2,000 police officers have been deployed in the blast area.
As per the eyewitness, around 120 people were present at the mosque when the explosion took place.
