Amid farmers' protest against Farmers' next call will be for march to Parliament: Rakesh Tikait
The BKU leader has been in the limelight ever since his video went viral in January this year, in which he was seen crying.
Farmers have been protesting against the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.

Meanwhile, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha announced further strategies to intensify farmers' protests against farm laws 2020.
Farmers will mark March 19 as Mandi Bachao day while on March 23, the farmers will celebrate Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh at the Delhi borders.
Likewise, the farmers have given a call for Bharat Bandh on March 26, the day which will complete 4 months of farmers’ protest. Similarly, the copies of three farm laws will be burnt in an effigy (Holika) on the occasion of Holi.

"Yes, we will block the border (Delhi-Noida border). The committee was yet to decide the date," said Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait.
