BCCI announces annual player contract: Virat, Rohit and Bumrah in Grade A+
The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Thursday announced the annual player contract for Team India's senior men's cricket team, for the period from October 2019 to September 2020. As per the contract, Indian skipper Virat Kohli, opener Rohit Sharma and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been mentioned in Grade A+ contract with INR 7 crore.
Likewise, Indian cricketers Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Ishant Sharma, Kedar Yadav, Rishabh Pant will get INR Rs 5 crore under Grade A contract.
Cricketers Wriddhiman Saha, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Hardik Pandya and Mayank Agarwal have been named under the Grade B contract with INR Rs 3 crore.
With INR Rs 1 crore, Kedar Jadhav, Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar, Manish Pandey, Hanuma Vihari, Shardul Thakur, Shreyas Iyer and Washington Sundar have been listed in Grade C contract. The letter is signed by BCCI's Hon. Secretary, Jay Shah.
