Ex-Gujarat Lawmaker Shot Dead in a moving Train
An ex-Gujrat lawmaker was shot dead by two unknown people in a moving train on Tuesday in Gujarat. The victim was a former BJP-MLA, Jayanthi Bhanushali. According to the media sources, he was travelling to Ahmedabad from Bhuj in the Sayaji Nagari Express.

Around 2 am, two unknown people boarded the express at Malviya station in Kutch. They entered the AC coach where the former lawmaker was sitting, and fired shots at him. The bullets hit him in the eye and chest and killed him on the spot. The incident took place between Surajbari and Kataria villages.

Other passengers called the police and believed that it is a case of personal vengeance. Recently, a woman from Surat accused him of sexual assault following which he resigned from the party.
