Farmers' Protest: In a major development, the Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to 43 farmers' organisations on an application seeking to make them parties before the top court in a PIL against the blockade of roads between Delhi to Noida due to farmers' protests against the three agriculture laws. During the hearing, the Supreme Court asked the farmers’ body, "Where is the question of going for protest once a party has approached court challenging validity of laws?"

Farmers to host meet to mark 9 months of protest- The New Indian Express Likewise, Attorney General KK Venugopal referred to the Lakhimpur Kheri incident of Sunday. SC said nobody takes responsibility when such events happen. Furthermore, the Solicitor General said, in Supreme Court, that once a matter is before the highest Constitutional court, nobody can be on street on the same issue.
