LeT terrorist arrested in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag, arms recovered
The security forces also recovered one pistol and seven rounds from the possession of the LeT terrorist. The terrorist has been identified as Hafiz Abdulla Malik, a resident of Ganjipora, and he had been active since September 25 this year, the police said.

"Based on specific information, a search operation was launched in the Wahadan area of Aishmuqam, Anantnag, by joint forces of the police and Army's 3RR during wee hours," said the police.
Meanwhile, during interrogation, he led search parties to Katsu Forest where security forces recovered an AK-47, 02 magazine along with 40 rounds from the spot, the police added.
Further investigation is underway.
Earlier, on November 7, a 29-year-old policeman was shot dead by terrorists in the Batamaloo area of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to officials, the policeman was shot dead outside his residence by gunmen at SD colony in the Batamaloo area. The gunmen fired upon constable Tauseef Ahmad, leaving him critically injured, the officials said. He was rushed to Srinagar's SMHS Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
On November 5, terrorists had opened fire at security forces at SKIMS Medical College Hospital in Bemina, Srinagar. The hospital was cordoned off and a large number of security personnel were rushed to the spot.
